What awaits you?
– Purchasing responsibility for the product groups batteries, charging solutions and control units
– Product group expertise in batteries, charging solutions and control units.
– Single point of contact for all internal stakeholders and suppliers for the supported product group
– Support in supplier selection, inclusion of new suppliers in the supplier pool, maintenance of the supplier pool
– Support in the analysis of procurement markets and regions
– Recognizing opportunities and risks with regard to the product group being managed
– Coordination of technical modifications with suppliers and internal communication with the specialist departments
– Support in analyzing industry trends and developing technologies
– Obtaining and comparing offers and carrying out value analyses and calculations with regard to prices and conditions
– Continuous maintenance of data regarding delivery dates, prices and quantities in the ERP system
– Carrying out orders for parts and services
– Responsibility for small sub-projects

What do you bring?
– Completed university degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, business administration or similar
– More than 5 years of professional experience in a purchasing position in the automotive industry or a comparable industry desirable
– Product group expertise in batteries, charging solutions and equipment for electric vehicles
– Confident manner and negotiating skills with internal and external parties
– Assertiveness towards suppliers and internal stakeholders
– Reliability, confidentiality
– Initiative and flexibility
– Good knowledge of MS Office systems and ERP systems
– Analytical, determined and independent personality
– Communicative and proactive team player
– Very good written and spoken German and English skills required
– Willingness to travel
